Road trippin’ with Fatales

The Thames Fatales made the trip to northern Michigan not once but TWICE this summer.

After the first long-haul drive on May 17th, the Fatales faced off with Traverse City’s Toxic Cherries, only to be defeated by the Cherries 231 – 45. Jewel C. Starz was named MVP Jammer and Baconator was named MVP Blocker.

The second drive on June 28th, brought the Fatales to Kalkaska, MI, just half an hour outside of Traverse City. FCDG’s green and black duelled to the hot, sweaty, bitter end against the Small Town Outlaws.

The Fatales managed to keep the score up through the hot mess of a game with a final score of 128 to the Small Town Outlaws’ 170. Sew-Ci-O-Path was named MVP Jammer and Mischievous Lady T was named MVP Blocker.

We couldn’t really describe the bout any better than announcer AK-40 oz in his write up on Facebook after the game. Thanks to the wonderful Small Town Outlaws for having us over and for such a great game!

You’ll be able to catch the Thames Fatales back on the track for home games starting again in October. Watch the FCDG events page for dates and times!
